The National Temple Hill Association was founded in 1933 to preserve the New Windsor Cantonment, the last encampment of the American Army during the Revolution, 1782-1783.
Today the Association manages the Last Encampment of the Continental Army for the Town of New Windsor and the Edmonston House, a house dating to 1755 which served as a headquarters during the 1782-1783 encampment.
